Nompumelelo (“Mpumi”) Maesela is a seasoned corporate‑finance and impact‑investment strategist with more than 15 years’ experience spearheading landmark BBBEE transactions—including the R1 billion FirstRand Empowerment Trust and the R7 billion Anglo Inyosi deal—while simultaneously channeling capital and advisory support to women‑owned rural enterprises. As Chief Executive Officer of SE Holdings (South Africa) she has mobilised over R200 million for small‑holder mechanisation and infrastructure and secured R3 billion in offtake agreements with leading agri‑food corporations. Her stewardship of an Enterprise Development Fund has financed 167 small farmers at a 90 % repayment rate, coupling finance with market access and technical support.
